Ticketing/ Seating
All tickets to the historic Round 8 match in Shanghai have been sold. There are no more tickets available to the game due to restrictions around stadium capacity and the significant demand for this game.
Please note that due to security reasons, there will be no pass outs from the stadium during the game.
A venue/ seating map of Jiangwan Stadium can be found below.
Ticket collection
All tickets purchased online will need to be collected in Shanghai prior to the game or at the stadium on game day.
Tickets can be collected from two locations: The Camel Hotel or Jiangwan Stadium.
Ticket collection opening times at the Camel Hotel:
Friday 12 May: 10am-6pm
Ticket collection opening times at Jiangwan Stadium:
Saturday 13 May: 9am-4pm
Sunday 14 May: from 9am
Ticket collection booths at the stadium will be located just outside the western grandstand terrace (Songhu Road side of the oval), next to the Taste of Australia festival.
If you decide to head out to Jiangwan Stadium on Saturday (despite there being no access to training), we will have our merchandise store open at the oval.
Transport
Strict traffic controls will be in place in the streets surrounding Jiangwan Stadium.
The club strongly advises catching a train, taxi, or heading to the Camel event on Sunday morning and enjoy a bus ride to the ground.
The train will drop you virtually at the front door of the stadium, but you should expect to walk a few hundred metres if you’re coming by road.
Metro
The quickest, cheapest and easiest way to get to Jiangwan Stadium is via public transport on the Shanghai Metro, heading north using the light purple line (line 10).
Once you arrive at the Jiangwan Stadium stop, exit the station through Exit #1 and turn right onto the street. Walk for around 2.5 minutes and you will arrive at the Jiangwan Stadium western gate entrance.
You can view a map of the Shanghai Metro here.
Taxi
You can also get to the ground by taxi, but please keep in mind the stadium taxi drop-off zone is located at least a 10-minute walk away from the stadium, so it will require you to walk a short distance.
A taxi will also generally take longer than the metro due to traffic and most taxi drivers don’t speak English – so it is much easier and faster to take the Metro.
However, if you elect to take a taxi, it’s best to give your driver the address of Jiangwan Stadium in Chinese:
江湾体育场
中国上海杨浦区五角场国和路346号
200433
Camel bus ride
If you are attending the Before the Bounce breakfast at the Camel on Sunday morning, bus transfers to and from the game are included in your package.
If you’d like to attend this event and enjoy the bus ride, bookings can be made here.
Security
There is a heightened approach to security and crowd management by local authorities in China.
Large scale sporting events are not as common as they are in Australia, and you will notice a higher presence of security personnel at the ground on game day. The screening processes to get into the ground will be more prominent and akin to the process we go through when entering an airport. These enhanced security practices have resulted in each club's open training session being closed to the public.
These sessions must be used to ensure that the stadium's safety and security procedures are functioning correctly, which can only be done when the players are using the facilities as they would on match day.
We expect the movement of people around the stadium will be monitored closely. As with all other major international events, your ticket and wristband passes where applicable will be your passport at the ground. Without them, you will not be able to enter or move around the arena. We want everyone to be able to see the game comfortably, so please make sure you have your tickets, there will be no ability to negotiate your way in.
Events
Open training - Cancelled
Due to enhanced security practices mentioned above, regrettably both the Power and Suns training sessions will now be closed to the public.
This means there will be no public access to the Power’s training session at Jiangwan Stadium on Saturday 13 May.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our travellers.
Camel events
The Camel hotel will be Port Adelaide’s club house in Shanghai in the lead up to the game. It’s a great Aussie pub and the footy will be on all weekend!
There are still a limited number of tickets available to two events at the Camel, including:

Directly after the exhibition game the Port Adelaide post-match presentations will take place on-ground with the full playing squad. There will be player interviews, coaches’ and it’ll be an opportunity for the club to thank its’ loyal supporters for their amazing support in travelling to Shanghai!
