A MEGA fit Port Adelaide list enters Rounds 7 and 5 of the AFL and SANFL seasons with just one man down.
That man is club captain Travis Boak, who will have his hamstring assessed this week, with Port Adelaide’s head of high performance Darren Burgess cautiously optimistic of the skipper being available.
“We’ll review Boaky, he should come close, but how close is the question,” Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.
“His scans showed there was some sensitivity around the hamstring, but we’re hopeful he’ll be recovered with last weekend off.
“If he doesn’t come up this week, he should be fine for Round 8.”
Port Adelaide plays West Coast at Adelaide Oval on Saturday 6 May at 4.05pm and Sturt at Alberton Oval on Sunday 7 at 2.10pm.
