NATHAN KRAKOUER and Matt White will be managed through this week with foot and hamstring complaints.

White pulled up with hamstring soreness from the Magpies' win over the Crows in the SANFL last week, while Krakouer struggled through the game with a bruised foot.

Despite the complaints, both were impressive in the game, Krakouer finishing with five goals.

Port Adelaide's head of high performance Darren Burgess said a no-risk policy remains in play at Alberton.

"Given the health of our list, we decided the best course of action is to not take a risk with either of them [White or Krakouer]," Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

"Krak played with brusing on his heel, which hasn't gone away, so we think he'll respond to having a weekend off.

"We scanned Whitey after he pulled up sore from the game, and on Tuesday it showed some very minor cause for concern.

"They would both be available next week."

Rookie ruckman Peter Ladhams will also sit out the Magpies game with general soreness.
