PORT ADELAIDE has submitted paperwork to the AFL to place Billy Frampton onto its long-term injury list.
Frampton is recovering from a shoulder reconstruction, which has sidelined him from the remainder of the season.
The 20-year-old had previously played 16 games of the season for the Magpies, adding to his 2016 tally of 10 games.
The long-term injury placement allows the Power to upgrade one of its remaining rookies to the senior list.
No decision has been made to upgrade a player.
