PORT ADELAIDE has completed a trade that will see Billy Frampton continue his career at Adelaide.
The Power will receive a future fourth-round pick, tied to Greater Western Sydney, as part of the deal that will see Frampton move to West Lakes.
The 22-year-old has played three AFL games and kicked four goals in his five years at the club, having debuted in Round 23, 2018.
“Billy requested a trade to Adelaide, seeking more opportunity to play at AFL level,” said General Manager – Football, Chris Davies.
“We have seen significant development from Billy since he was drafted five years ago and it’s difficult to see him depart the club.
“He has no doubt made countless friendships at Port Adelaide that will remain strong and we wish him well.”
Frampton came to Alberton from South Fremantle with pick 84 in the 2014 National Draft.
He leaves the club having kicked 59 goals in 66 SANFL games.
