portadelaidefc.com.au takes a look at who’s in the mix to play in the Power’s clash against the Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval this Saturday.
Port Adelaide
With an injury-free win at the ‘G on Sunday, there will be no forced changes to the Power’s side to face the Bulldogs this weekend.
Ken Hinkley was pleased with Round 11 debutant Logan Austin’s game, and with key defender Jack Hombsch still sidelined with a hamstring complaint, Austin is likely to keep his position in the top side this week.
Depending on match-ups, big-bodied midfielder Brendon Ah Chee could receive a call up to face the young Dogs outfit – he has been a regular face in the AFL team this year and starred in the SANFL last week, earning praise from coach Chad Cornes.
Karl Amon is also in the mix, having already played six AFL games in 2016 and travelling with the team as an emergency last week.
Alipate Carlile and Robbie Young will come out of the Magpies’ side after suffering respective knee and collarbone injuries during the SANFL clash with Glenelg, while Jimmy Toumpas will need to pass fitness testing this week following an ankle complaint.
