PORT Adelaide ruckman Paddy Ryder can accept a one-game ban for striking Adelaide's Riley Knight.
Ryder handed a sanction for the strike, which was graded as intentional conduct with low impact to the head.
He will risk a two-game suspension if he contests the charge.
The MRP statement on Ryder is as follows:
Based on the available evidence and a medical report from the Adelaide Crows Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the head. The incident was classified as a two-match sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacts the penalty. An early plea enables the player to accept a one-match sanction.
Crow midfielder Charlie Cameron was offered a $1000 fine with an early plea for engaging in rough conduct against Power defender Dan Houston.
GWS Giant Shane Mumford will also be free to play against the Power this weekend after being handed a $1000 sanction for rough conduct in their win over North Melbourne.
