The AFL has worked with the Club to secure a charter flight that will leave Adelaide at approximately 11am on Friday.
The arrangements will ensure the Power team is in Perth in ample time for Sunday’s 2.40pm (WA time) game at Patersons Stadium, avoiding the possibility of any travel delay caused by issues relating to volcanic ash in the atmosphere.
The Port Adelaide Football Club thanks the AFL for making these arrangements in difficult circumstances. The Power is happy to be flexible in its arrangements to ensure the AFL fixture isn’t adversely affected by circumstances out of anyone’s control.
The Club expects the team to return to Adelaide, as scheduled, on Monday.
