These incredible experiences along with many more are possible when you become an official player sponsor with Port Adelaide’s 2015 Player Sponsor Auction – which is now well underway.

Bidding has opened for those vying to sponsor their favourite Power or Magpies player in the upcoming season.

Whether it’s one of Port Adelaide’s experienced leaders, a developing recruit or a grassroots SANFL player, player sponsorship allows you to form a unique connection with a Port Adelaide player of your choice.

You’ll also have the knowledge that your valuable support is helping to push our football club one step closer to that ultimate success.

Local sales manager and club legend Tim Ginever said there’s a number of exclusive player sponsor benefits up for grabs for those who win the bid, depending on which player you snag.

These include signed guernseys, player sponsor evenings, inner sanctum training night events and the experience of a club game day at either the powerhouse Adelaide Oval or our spiritual home at Alberton.

“There are plenty of opportunities on offer through the Player Auction that we’ve never offered before that will excite bidders, especially the chance to dine with their player and be part of an on-field guard of honour,” Ginever said.

“This is a new way for us to bring people who want to have a closer connection to our players into the fold of the club.”

For the first time ever the auction is being held online, which means you can secure a bid for your favourite player the ease of a click of a mouse.

The three separate auction periods will run daily from Wednesday 25 March to Friday 27 March.

Each auction period will run from 9am until 9.30pm (AEST) sharp on each day.

The player stock will rotate daily, with different players up for grabs during each auction period, so if your player of choice isn’t yet listed make sure you check back the following day. Some players will also available for multiple sponsorships and will feature more than once.

With the likes of Power heroes Robbie Gray, Chad Wingard and Captain Travis Boak up for grabs, along with SANFL stars Robbie Young, Steven Summerton and Sam Gordon, it’s a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Port Adelaide’s most prominent football stars.
