THE game day experience continues to grow for the Port Adelaide faithful, with the addition of Tagboard to the home game lineup for 2015.
Described as the “next generation fan-cam”, Tagboard is pioneering technology fast revolutionizing the way fans interact with their sporting teams.
Port Adelaide is the first sporting club in Australia to partner with Tagboard, which is currently favourited by many major teams and sporting venues across the globe, such as the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco Giants and Boston Bruins.
Tagboard is an exciting, new digital platform developed in the US, which uses hashtags to collate social media content within seconds of being posted.
It collects images, videos, tweets and statuses from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Vine, Google+ and Flickr, and collates them into an exclusive Port Adelaide tagboard of related posts.
The exciting part? We then put your social media content up on the big screen at home games so all Port Adelaide supporters can share in and tell the story of their game day – using the universal Port Adelaide hashtag #weareportadelaide.
It means anyone in the world can engage in the Port Adelaide game day experience, whether it be in the stands at the oval, watching the game on the couch with the kids, or even in a bar halfway across the world.
Port Adelaide has also integrated Tagboard the club website, so supporters can check out their own social media content in a fan shot gallery at the end of each home clash!
