FIVE players come into Port Adelaide’s team to take on the West Coast Eagles on Sunday afternoon at AAMI Stadium.

Port Adelaide yesterday named Alipate Carlile, Chad Wingard, Aaron Young, Tom Jonas and Daniel Stewart in its 25-man squad.

All five feature in the final 22 with three omissions including defender Tom Logan, midfielder John McCarthy and ruckman Jarrad Redden.

Troy Chaplin (injury) and Hamish Hartlett (suspension) are the other two outs from the team that lost to Hawthorn last week.

Logan has been omitted from Port Adelaide's side with soreness sustained over recent weeks, whilst McCarthy will line up for Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL.

Jarrad Redden has also been taken out of the side and has been named as an emergency for the Power.

His absence will see Matthew Lobbe retain primary ruck duties with support for forwards Justin Westhoff and Daniel Stewart, and defender Jackson Trengove.

Port Adelaide will confirm its bench and substitute prior to the match against the West Coast Eagles at 12.40pm on Sunday 17 August at AAMI Stadium.
