SUNDAY'S twilight top-of-the-table ANZAC Round match between Port Adelaide and Geelong is officially sold out, with the final public general admission tickets being scooped up before lunchtime on Saturday.

It means the best option for people without a ticket to get into the game is by securing a guest pass into the Western Stand through either Adelaide Oval football members or Essential Power members who are able to buy guest passes at the gate with their membership.

It's a significant result for Port Adelaide, which enjoyed a bumper crowd of 50,397 in the first game at the redeveloped Oval in March and backed it up against Brisbane with a 36,231 attendance a fortnight ago.

Members with general admission access or people who have purchased a non-reserved seat are encouraged to get to the ground early to ensure they have a good choice of seating options, according to Port Adelaide's general manager - member services Matthew Richardson.

"This will be our third game at the redeveloped Adelaide Oval and our second to have officially sold out," Richardson said.

"It means there will be a high demand for seats in the assigned general admission areas, so ticket holders who want to get a seat in those areas are advised to get to the game early."

The sell out means the onus will be on all Port Adelaide game-access members and public ticket holders to get to the Adelaide Oval to create a Power fortress for Ken Hinkley's second-ranked team, looking to break a 10-game win drought against the league-leading Cats dating back to 2007.

With a range of fantastic entertainment options around the ground including the increasingly popular and exciting March from the Mall at 2:30pm, the gameday experience at the Oval continues to be an important drawcard for the club outside of the AFL match itself.

The official curtain raiser between the Australian Defence Force and Australian Combined Emergency Services will be held before the game, and with a significant number of pre-match ANZAC Round commemorations planned, spectators will be able to pay their respects to those who served, including former Port Adelaide players and officials, right up until the first bounce.

Gates open at 1:00pm ahead of the first bounce at 4:10pm.
