JARED Polec has been officially added to Port Adelaide's long-term injury list.
Required to serve a minimum eight-week period on this list, he will be able to resume playing only after Port Adelaide's Round 14 game against the Sydney Swans at the SCG.
This means he could play against either Collingwood on the following Thursday night at the Adelaide Oval, or Norwood at the Parade on July 11.
Polec is currently listed at 8-10 weeks on the club's injury list with no fixed return date.
The Power are yet to upgrade a rookie in Polec's place, although is still able to do so.
Nathan Krakouer is the only upgraded rookie on Port's senior list at present, in place of injured first-year recruit Billy Frampton.
