JARMAN Impey and Andrew Moore will both train this week with little concern following Saturday’s NAB Challenge game in Lavington.
The Power played a man down after Impey was withdrawn from the Power’s final team with hamstring soreness.
It was a precautionary move that will ensure the small defender is available for selection in next Saturday’s NAB Challenge closer against the Crows.
“Jarman had some hamstring soreness and we felt it best to take a no-risk approach, especially as we’re only playing NAB Challenge,” Darren Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au after the game.
“He should be fine to train this week and in the mix for selection on Thursday.”
Andrew Moore will also be free to play next Saturday, despite suffering a small cork during the loss to Richmond.
“It’s very minor, he was fine after the game,” Burgess said.
Port Adelaide plays two trial games on Saturday 21 March, with its SANFL side to play the Crows at Alberton, ahead of the main NAB Challenge fixture between the crosstown rivals at AAMI Stadium later that afternoon.
