The spectator who was ejected from the Port Adelaide v Richmond game at Adelaide Oval on Sunday night for unruly behaviour has been issued a three month barring order by South Australian Police.
The Port Adelaide Football Club has investigated the incident and the offending spectator is not a Club Member.
However, the Club does not tolerate any form of abusive behaviour from spectators at Adelaide Oval and fully supports the barring order issued by South Australian Police.
Port Adelaide released a spectator code of conduct last June reinforcing its commitment to creating a safe, comfortable and exciting game-day experience for all Members and supporters.
Under this code of conduct the club reserves the right to revoke memberships or casual game day tickets should any offence be committed and should a situation warranting a ban arise.
Port Adelaide also continues to encourage all supporters to use the 1300TELLUS phone service during games at Adelaide Oval to report any offensive behaviour.
