Are you planning on heading to the footy this season?
General Admission entry tickets are a fantastic way to see Port Adelaide home games at Adelaide Oval.
But we reckon they’re underrated. Despite popular belief, your GA tickets does far more than just get you through the gates.
So, what does a GA entry actually get you on game day?
Five advantages of a general admission ticket
1) You can have a seat!
As a general admission ticket holder, we don’t expect you to stand up to watch the game - you do have access to seating! The club sets aside several thousand seats for our GA ticket holders, which are available at every single game. Of course if standing is your preference, you can do that too.
2) You can choose where to sit
As a GA ticket holder, you have access to over 7,500 non-reserved seats which are available on a first in basis at every home game. There are a range of seating options to choose from. There’s GA seating available at ground level (sections 141-146) as well as undercover seating in the Riverbank and Eastern stands. GA ticket holders are also welcome to watch the game from the standing area on the hill if they’d prefer.
See the map above highlighting the GA sections for Port Adelaide home games.
3) You can sit with your mates
If you’ve got a group of friends all heading to the footy, you can sit together at a Power game! With a GA ticket you don’t have to worry about allocated seats, because seating is first in, best dressed. But remember to get there early to secure your seats, because they are unreserved and are open to all GA ticket holders.
4) The best game day entertainment in Australian sport
Port Adelaide has become renowned for delivering an unparalleled game day in Australian sport. It’s more than just a game of footy – it’s an experience. From the spine-tingling pre-game rituals of March from the Mall and Never Tear Us Apart, to Game Day village, Power Playground and in-stadium entertainment; attending a Port Adelaide home game is an experience like no other!
5) Incredible value
With GA tickets just $35 for adults, you’ll get almost a whole day of entertainment for less than you’d spend on a night out to dinner! It’s affordable, great value and most importantly – the most fun you’ll have at a game of footy.
NB: Access is subject to capacity and is not guaranteed but a number of seats and standing room positions are held for general admission entry on match day however once this number is reached no further general admission ticket holders will be able to enter the ground. Access may be gained to designated, unreserved seating on a first-come, first served basis subject to availability.
