ROBERT Murphy will not play against Port Adelaide on Saturday afternoon, having been rested along with Josh Prudden.
The Bulldogs skipper and Prudden will be replaced by Lin Jong and Sam Darley.
It will be Darley's first game of the season.
“He’s been in great VFL form Sam, so we need to reward that," Bulldogs assistant Rohan Smith told westernbulldogs.com.au.
“He’s been playing a few different roles, wing, half-back so he’s got great ball use, he’s got a beautiful kick.
“Someone at Etihad to come in and use his pace and use his ball-winning ability is great for us, so that’s what we’ll expect from him.”
Meanwhile Port Adelaide has made one forced change to its team to replace the injured Ollie Wines, with Jarman Impey stepping up after playing against Central District in the SANFL last week.
