CHARLIE DIXON stands at centre half-forward as part of a spine featuring Jay Schulz, Brad Ebert, Jackson Trengove and Alipate Carlile in AFL.com.au's predicted Power line-up for 2016's opening round. 

All-Australian's Chad Wingard and Robbie Gray stand near each other in the forward pocket and flank, Jasper Pittard and Jared Polec man the wings.

And run from defence is provided by Hartlett, Broadbent, Hombsch and Impey, while Paddy Ryder, Travis Boak and Ollie Wines are ball chasers. 

It seems a pretty strong team, with Matt Lobbe, Matt White, Tom Jonas and Brendon Ah Chee starting on the bench.

Brendon Ah Chee appears to have squeezed Sam Gray out of the side, while John Butcher, Jake Neade, Paul Stewart, Karl Amon, Sam Colquhoun and Aaron Young were also regular features in 2015 to miss the Round 1 team.Perhaps the biggest question to come out of AFL.com.au's prediction is a simple one: who's missed out?

Due to the Power's injury woes last year many players were offered chances to strut their stuff on the big stage and to be fair to them, many took those opportunities. Guys such as Sam Gray, Aaron Young and Nathan Krakouer are difficult to leave out of a 'best scenario' 22, but the question always comes back to who makes way for their insertion? Tom Jonas will get back to his best, Brendon Ah Chee deserves a spot and for those just missing the 22, the challenge to break in will remain. Jimmy Toumpas may well impress over the summer and climb the pecking order – however Young, Gray, Colquhoun and even Amon have substantially more runs on the board at Alberton. - Harry Thring
