PORT ADELAIDE games record holder Kane Cores has rated every AFL club’s song after West Coast released its remastered version on Wednesday afternoon.

Cornes was particularly critical of Fremantle, Adelaide and Port Adelaide when assessing their theme songs on Adelaide radio on Thursday morning.

The 2004 premiership player believed Port Adelaide could have tinkered its tune leading into the club’s anniversary season.

“I would change Port Adelaide’s song. I would,” Cornes said.

“It’s not a disaster. Port Adelaide’s song is not a disaster by any means. But it’s a bit boring. It’s a bit outdated.

“I know there’s a flag there which they won in 2004, but it’s a bit boring isn’t it?

“Perhaps in the club’s 150th year … I think they could have looked at perhaps just jazzing up the song a little bit.”

Kane Cornes’ ratings:

Elite: Richmond, North Melbourne, GWS, Western Bulldogs

Sub Elite: Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon

Advanced: Brisbane, Hawthorn, Melbourne, West Coast

Good: Sydney, St Kilda, Geelong

Poor: Port Adelaide, Adelaide, Gold Coast

Rotten: Fremantle
