PORT Adelaide returns to the Gabba for the first time since 2011 this weekend in a genuine challenge for the Power.
Just nine players in this weekend’s 25-man squad played in that loss to the Lions.
From there, it drops right off.
Kane Cornes has played nine games at the Gabba, winning just a third of them. Brad Ebert, Patrick Ryder and Angus Monfries have played four games with other clubs.

The Gabba is a far wider ground than the Adelaide Oval, in fact it’s wider than the MCG!
This means that the Power will need to be on its guard against a side that spends half its year playing on the fat deck.
The lack of experience playing on the ground is an obvious disadvantage to the Power, but it also means little can be read into the form record at the ground.
After all, the last two games at the ground were helmed by different coaches (Mark Williams and Matthew Primus) and Ken Hinkley is a third different coach again.
Port Adelaide plays Brisbane at 4:40pm (AEST) on Sunday 17 May.
