IT'S been a while since Jared Polec played a game of footy in anger, but for the Port Adelaide midfielder, his return against Sydney on the weekend was welcome.
Polec spent most of last year rehabilitating his navicular - a foot injury that kept him sidelined after Round 5.
Playing just three quarters against the Swans, Polec came away from the match feeling positive.
Thanks for all the support after 293 days in rehab couldn't have got through with out everyone's support! Big thanks to @tim_parham! @PAFC

The navicular appears to have healed nicely as well, after Polec slotted a booming supergoal against the breeze using the very foot he nursed through recovery.
