AFLCA: Boak the only poller
Travis Boak was the only Port Adelaide player to poll votes in Port Adelaide's loss to Hawthorn.
The Power captain received one vote behind five Hawks.
Senior coaches Ken Hinkley and Alastair Clarkson agreed Hawthorn forward Jarryd Roughead was the best player on the ground with his five-goals netting him ten votes.
Luke Hodge and Issac Smith polled six each while Jack Gunston who also booted five goals received four votes.
Jordan Lewis rounded out the Hawthorn recipients with three votes.
Boak’s single vote draws him close to Chad Wingard on the Port Adelaide’s leader board in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award, ahead of Hamish Hartlett and Justin Westhoff on 30, and Brad Ebert on 23.
