GAVIN WANGANEEN is designing the football for the 2017 Sir Douglas Nicholls Indigenous Round.
Having recently turned his hand to a career in traditional art, Wanganeen has been tapped by the AFL to work with Sherrin to design the footballs to be used in Round 10.
The 2004 premiership player and former Port Adelaide captain recently launched his first solo exhibition in Willunga.
His design will first appear when the Power take on the Cats in the round-opener at Simonds Stadium on Thursday 25 May at 7.30pm local time.
