The Port Adelaide Football Club today welcomed Anytime Fitness, Australia’s number one health and fitness club, as a new Principal Partner and official Gym, Health and Fitness partner.
The Anytime Fitness logo known as “The Running Man” will feature on the goal posts at Port Adelaide home games at Adelaide Oval and as the official coaches’ partner of the Magpies in the SANFL, their logo will also appear on the polo of Magpies coaching staff and on the coaches’ box at Alberton.
Port Adelaide GM – Commercial Chris Nunn says the club is delighted to a form a partnership with such a reputable fitness franchise.
“Anytime Fitness has built a reputation as Australia’s number one health and fitness club and coupled with Port Adelaide’s renowned fitness under world class high performance manager Darren Burgess, we see this partnership as a natural fit,” said Mr Nunn.
“Together we will be creating the Anytime Fitness High Performance hub at Alberton, replacing the former sweat box designed for players in rehabilitation.
“But importantly, our partnership with Anytime Fitness goes beyond the playing group. We will also be delivering joint initiatives to encourage Port Adelaide fans to achieve their fitness goals at any one of their forty clubs around South Australia.”
Local Anytime Fitness franchisee Leigh Kentwell says he, along with other local business owners, recognise that Port Adelaide has established a reputation within the AFL as one of the fittest clubs.
