Anglicare SA is Port Adelaide’s official charity partner for the Power-Demons clash at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
The charity provides care and support to South Australians such as mental health services, skills and employment, drug and alcohol support, financial counselling, emergency assistance and aboriginal services.
Anglicare SA also helps disadvantaged people in the community such as older people, families and children.
This weekend, the collected donations will to towards Anglicare SA’s partnership program with Port Adelaide Football Club - Power Generation.
Power Generation is an employment and training support program for Aboriginal students and graduates of the Aboriginal Power Cup.
Anglicare SA’s services support Aboriginal students and graduates to keep progressing with their study and employment by assisting with non-work related challenges such as their home situation, obtaining a driver’s license and financial counselling.
Volunteers will be collecting monetary donations outside the gates at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night
