Wet win encouraging for final two games
Jonas says Power will draw confidence from victory over Suns.
Port Adelaide hosts Carlton in its final home-and-away game at the Adelaide Oval for the year in a celebration that will double as commemoration at AFL level of the club's all-conquering 1914 season centenary.
The victory over Gold Coast saw the Power dominate a number of key statistics, particularly its key areas of clearance and contested ball wins.
The run home: Two rounds to go
And grinding out a crucial win in torrential conditons was exactly what the Power playing group needed heading into significant encounters against Carlton and Fremantle, according to defender Tom Jonas.
"It gives us a lot of encouragement and confidence going into the next two weeks," Jonas said
"We got back to playing the type of footy that we want to play - locking the ball in our front half, winning contested ball.
"It was just a really tough, hard-fought win."
The Power played back into form against Sydney in Round 20, but was unable to chalk up a win.
Jonas believes the form captured against the league leaders at the Adelaide Oval that night was essential to its good performance at Metricon Stadium.
Now, the Power's focus must be on maintaining its strong attack and defensive work against an in-form Blues outfit on Friday.

"We thought we almost got back to that [form] against Sydney, we just didn't get the result," Jonas said.
"We got there the whole way [against Gold Coast].
"Footy's all about winning ball, playing our style of footy and adjusting to the conditions.
"It all starts in the centre - winning the footy - and then defending really hard, getting them up in our half, locking them in there."
Ticket sales are progressing strongly for Friday's game, which will see the Power take on the Blues at 7:10pm under lights.
