Staff from Power Community Ltd hosted a group of young people from the SCOSA school holiday program at Alberton Oval on Thursday April 17.

SCOSA’s School Holiday Program engages youth in fun activities, carefully designed and structured to engage each participant in building relationships, accessing the community and experiencing new and exciting leisure pursuits.

The group enjoyed a tour of the facilities alongside up and comer Mitch Harvey, who was more than happy to spend some time talking to them about his pathway and showing them through the players training facility.

At the conclusion of the tour, the participants were only too keen to show Mitch their AFL skills; taking the opportunity to have shots on goal and compete in different handball challenges. Staff from both SCOSA and Power Community Ltd joined in the fun, and were impressed by the energy levels of the enthusiastic youth.

All participants had a positive experience here and the Power cannot wait to welcome the SCOSA school holiday program back again in the near future.
