Injury Update: Scans for Trengove, Carlile
Power defenders will be assessed following Showdown loss.
Trengove's ankle injury is the Power's fifth from six games and, judging by his teammates' rehab turnarounds, could return after at least a week.
Port Adelaide's senior coach Ken Hinkley was again left to lament the rotten luck with injuries of Trengove's nature.
"It's another ankle injury ... we do know how to roll an ankle, and it's probably going to be like the other ankle [injuries], probably one to two weeks," Hinkley said after the game.
"He chops out in the ruck a lot for us, and allows Westhoff to stay forward [and] we didn't have any extra talls that we could call on at a significant moment of the game."
While Trengove will undergo scans on Tuesday, full back Alipate Carlile will also have scans to a tight hamstring he finished the game with.
"Bobby finished the game with a tight hamstring, he probably had it in the last two minutes of the game," head of high performance Darren Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.
"We'll wait 48 hours and scan him on Tuesday to see how he's going and make a further assessment from there."
portadelaidefc.com.au will have a full injury update on Monday.
