The campaign was today launched at Alberton on the back of a record-breaking season where the Power faithful posted its best-ever membership tally and twice smashed the AFL attendance record for any game in South Australia.
Port Adelaide’s rollout of its 2015 membership campaign sees it also introduce a Wait List for members wishing to obtain a reserved seat next year.
With a high renewal percentage expected across all membership categories, those wishing to obtain a reserved seat in 2015 will give themselves the best chance of doing so by joining the Wait List.
For just $20 for adults and concession card holders and $10 for juniors, those who purchase a general admission 11-game membership can effectively join a priority queue for reserved seats when they become available.
“We have a very high demand for reserved seats,” explains Port Adelaide’s GM of marketing and consumer business Matthew Richardson.
“Those 2014 or prospective members who want a reserved seat simply need to purchase an 11-game general admission membership – which will give access to all our home games in general admission areas – and join the reserved seat Wait List for an annual fee.
“If successful in obtaining a reserved seat, it’s simply a case of paying the difference.”
Port Adelaide is also encouraging new and renewing members to join its Easy Pay plan to make membership payments more convenient.
Easy Pay debits payments from your credit card over three, six or 10 months, and automatically renews season-to-season.
“We’re finding more and more membership signing up on the Easy Pay plan to take the hassle out of renewing each year, and to make life easy with smaller part-payments across the season,” says Richardson.
“Right now we have about 20,000 members on the plan, many of whom will simply choose to relax and let their membership automatically renew again on December 19.”
With no fewer than five night blockbusters at the Adelaide Oval and three exciting twilight fixtures, Port Adelaide’s 2015 AFL calendar is potentially its best since joining the AFL.
From the premium Club 1870 membership through to a great range of general admission packages, a Port Adelaide membership remains the hottest ticket in town.
There are also a range of SANFL options and upgrades available, including the Magpies Home Game membership to all nine games at Alberton Oval and the popular We Are Port Adelaide upgrade which gets the club’s AFL members into every SANFL home match.
Two junior membership packages will be available in 2015, including a new-look Junior Power package for kids aged 7-14 and the all-new Power Pirateers for children aged 2-6.
International and Domestic Digital memberships are also on offer, giving live streaming access to every game of the 2015 AFL Premiership Season.
The flexibility and value offered by Port Adelaide’s 2015 membership suite provides a range of membership options for everyone from season ticket holders who can get to most games to supporters living interstate or overseas who can now enjoy watching games live with digital memberships.
“We want to reach 60,000 members for the first time this year, and with nearly 1 in 20 of last year’s membership renewing on Friday, we’re confident we can reach our goal,” Richardson says.
“Port Adelaide still has the most affordable and value-for-money membership range in the AFL and that is something we are very proud of, and every membership contributes to the team’s success.
“Our on-field product is exciting and entertaining and we want as many of our supporters to become members and Bring the Noise to our games in 2015 to keep building on the most exciting and entertaining game day in the AFL at the Adelaide Oval.”
Port Adelaide memberships are now on-sale via the club’s Official Membership Website weareportadelaide.com.au.
Memberships can also be purchased and renewed via the club’s membership hotline 1300 GO PAFC (1300 467 232) from 9:00am until 5:00pm (SA time) Monday to Friday, or by visiting the membership booth at The Port Club, Queen Street, Alberton.
