364 new or renewing members joined the club on the day after the Power’s season-opening win over Carlton, with many snapping up reserved seat memberships to secure their place at the historic first Showdown at Adelaide Oval on Saturday 29th March.
Some reserved seat categories are now completely sold out for season 2014.
That trend continues with more than 400 11-game memberships sold in the first two days of this week, with reserved seats and the Essential Power membership (non-reserved seating in the Western Stand) proving extremely popular.
There are more than 10,000 additional season ticket members than 2013, which will underpin the club’s attendances at Adelaide Oval this year.
There are still great seats remaining for fans wanting to secure their place at Adelaide Oval for 2014, but they need to be quick because they will potentially sell out before the Showdown.
Less that 1,000 reserved seat memberships are still available, with a number of Essential Power memberships still available to purchase.
There is increasing interest in the $175 general admission membership which provides entry to each of the remaining 10 home games (post-Showdown), with the choice of general admission seating areas plus the unique experience that will be ‘the Hill’ for Port Adelaide games at the Adelaide Oval.
The $175 general admission membership provides great value to prospective members, with the ticket holder breaking even if they attend just six games and ultimately saving money on any of the remaining four games attended thereafter.
With night games against Hawthorn, Essendon, Sydney and Carlton and the club's 10-year celebration of its 2004 premiership against Brisbane and ANZAC Round against Geelong, it’s no wonder memberships are selling at an unprecedented rate.
