TRAVIS BOAK and Jackson Trengove will play for Port Adelaide this weekend.

The club’s captain and one of its key defenders have been named in the Port Adelaide team to host Collingwood at AAMI Stadium this Saturday afternoon at 4:10pm.

They replace Campbell Heath and Matt Thomas who have been omitted from the side.

Senior coach Ken Hinkley told portadelaidefc.com.au the duo were welcome inclusions.

Preview: Round 14

Trengove returns after missing seven matches with a long-term foot injury.

“Jackson’s very important to us, we’ve missed him since he went out in Round 5 and it’s really good to finally have him back,” said Hinkley.

“He one of our club’s leaders and an important part of the team.”

Despite initial predictions Boak would be a two-week absentee from the team following his fractured finger against the Giants, Hinkley says the club's captain has recovered well and will play.

“He’ll train tomorrow morning and we expect him to play,” said Hinkley.

“We thought initially it was a one-weeker but didn’t want to rush him back if he wasn’t up to scratch.

“But he got the all-clear from the surgeon on Tuesday and should be fine.”

Hinkley says Collingwood will be one of the Power's biggest challenges this year and is expecting a tough contest on Saturday evening.

“Collingwood have been a yardstick for a number of years and will be a significant challenge – they’ll always be a significant challenge,” he said.

“We’ll need to be at our absolute best against them.

“Their record on the road is one of the best in the competition, so we’re expecting a tough contest on Saturday.”

Port Adelaide plays Collingwood at 4:10pm on Saturday afternoon.
