CHAD WINGARD has polled 10 votes from Ken Hinkley and Brenton Sanderson in the AFL Coaches Association Wingman Champion Player Award for his match-winning effort on Sunday.

Wingard kicked five goals against the Crows in Balfours Showdown XXXV, including the miraculous winner with less than 30 seconds on the clock.

Hinkley and Sanderson adjudged him best afield, adding to his own Showdown Medal awarded by media representatives at the game.

His captain Travis Boak maintains his lead among the Power playing group following his own standout performance in the midfield for Port.

He received eight votes.

Crows players Brad Crouch and Patrick Dangerfield polled three votes apiece, along with the Power's Hamish Hartlett.

Kane Cornes received two votes for his superb effort on Adelaide playmaker Richard Douglas - keeping him to just 12 possessions while winning 31 of his own.

Lewis Johnston received one vote for his four-goal performance for the Crows.

Just one vote separates Boak from Wingard on Port's AFLCA leader board, well clear of Hamish Hartlett who now sits in third position with 38 votes.
