PORT Adelaide captain Travis Boak has jumped into the top 40 in the Official AFL Player Ratings, brought to you by Vero, after his brilliant performance against Hawthorn at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.

The 24-year-old collected 34 possessions against the Hawks (eight more than any other player on the ground), and he also recorded the most contested possessions (13) and inside 50s (seven) in the match.

Those figures equated to a player ratings score of 23.2 and a jump of 11 spots in the player ratings from 51 to 40 - the first time Boak has been rated in the top 50

Boak ranks equal second in the competition for inside 50s this season, equal 16th for clearances and seventh for score assists.

Boak is the highest rated Port Adelaide player at number 40 and is one of just three Power players inside the top 100 - Brad Ebert is ranked 68 and Hamish Hartlett 88.

Chad Wingard continues his meteoric rise up the player ratings table, rising another 15 spots to be ranked 135th overall.

The 19-year-old, who was yesterday named in Mark Robinson's Round 16 All-Australian side, has risen further than any other player in the league in the Official Player Ratings, jumping 235 spots from 370 to 135 this season.
