The Match Review Panel found the contact was caused by circumstances outside of Wingard's control and therefore the Power small forward had no case to answer.
Wingard, who again impressed against the Roos with two goals and 22 touches, is free to play against the Tigers this Saturday afternoon at AAMI Stadium.
