Port Adelaide general manager marketing and operations Matthew Richardson said 2013 members would be supporting their club in the coming AFL season under senior coach Ken Hinkley, while also putting themselves in the box seat for Adelaide Oval.
“You’ll witness the arrival of a new Port Adelaide era in our final season at AAMI Stadium … plus you’ll be securing your place in history the following year,” Mr Richardson said.
“Adelaide Oval will transform your football experience from 2014.
“Port Adelaide Football Club is ‘coming home’ to an all-new Adelaide Oval which will be one of the premier sporting stadiums in the world.”
The new Adelaide Oval continues to take shape, with work well under way on the new southern and eastern grandstands.
The city-end stand will be ready in time for the 2013/14 cricket season, with the eastern side stand to be completed in time for the opening of the 2014 AFL season.
Football fans will have an extraordinary choice of seating at the city stadium, and Port Adelaide fans have an opportunity to lock their seats in … if they sign up as 2013 members by 28 February.
“We have some really exciting plans for how we will introduce seating options at Adelaide Oval,” Mr Richardson said.
“We will be transforming our members' experience from the moment they select their seats for 2014.
“Significantly, it will be our loyal members who will get the first opportunity to lock in their seating selection for 2014, so the importance of being a member in 2013 is critical.”
In addition to guaranteeing their place for 2014, this year’s members with access to AFL games (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Club 1870, PAFC Essential) will have an exclusive period within which they can confirm, change or upgrade their Adelaide Oval seat.
Those who take out 2013 memberships without AFL game access will still receive an Adelaide Oval Seat Hold PRIORITY, earning an opportunity to access to select seating options ahead of the general public.
