THE Western Bulldogs have been dealt a big blow ahead of Saturday night's clash with the Power at TIO Stadium in Darwin, with captain Matthew Boyd being forced out with a calf strain.

westernbulldogs.com.au reports that Boyd is likely to miss just the one game after a re-occurrence of his calf injury.

Boyd is one of two changes for the Dogs with defender Tom Young also sidelined with a calf injury.

Young midfielder Mitch Wallis and key defender Michael Talia replace Boyd and Young in the side.
