ONE change has been made to the team that defeated the GWS Giants by 56 points last weekend with Brent Renouf coming into Port Adelaide’s side replacing Jarrad Redden.

Renouf has returned from a knee injury that kept him out from much of the 2012 season, although he did play against the Crows in round five.

Playing the last month at SANFL level with aligned side Norwood, Renouf had his best game back last week with 40 hit outs and a goal at league level.

Senior coach Ken Hinkley explained that Renouf will offer Port Adelaide a more experienced ruck alternative to pair with Matthew Lobbe against the Crows.

“Reddo (Jarrad Redden) loses his spot due to the fact that we want a slightly more experienced ruckman in the team in Renouf.” Hinkley told portadelaidefc.com.au.

“We believe he will offer us more against a high quality opponent like Sam Jacobs.

“We want to try and make sure we get some consistent advantage around the stoppages and we think at the moment big Renouf is better equipped to help us get that.”

Robbie Gray, Dom Cassisi and Andrew Moore have been named as emergencies for the Power on Sunday afternoon.

Action at AAMI Stadium between Port Adelaide and the Crows will commence at 4:10pm.
