The club offered McGregor the role of SANFL Academy and development coach for the 2014 season alongside newly appointed SANFL senior coach Garry Hocking.
McGregor thanked the club for the offer but has instead chosen to pursue an involvement in football that also allows him to maintain his media career away from the sport.
