Port Adelaide’s extended seat hold guarantee will enable those who purchase an 11-game season ticket membership before 5.00pm on Friday 15 March to secure their place at Adelaide Oval in 2014.
Early in the 2013, those 11-game members will be given one month to exclusively activate their guarantee and select their seating preference for Adelaide Oval in 2014.
Those who join at lower levels of membership, including as 3-game, Football Club or Magpies member, will be given the opportunity to purchase a seat at the new stadium when the round of guaranteed allocations expires.
General public will be able to purchase their seats after the guarantee and priority seating releases are completed.

General manager, Member Services Matthew Richardson is overseeing the seating allocation process at Adelaide Oval and says the two week extended guarantee comes on the back of the huge demand of the club’s passionate supporters to be involved in the move to the city.
“Our supporters have taken full advantage of the seat hold guarantee for Adelaide Oval 2014 and we’re listening to their demand by providing this extension,” says Richardson.
“For two more weeks our supporters can guarantee their seat at Adelaide Oval in 2014 by becoming an 11-game season ticket member of the club.
“Our priority is to ensure that our members have the best opportunity to select the best seats at Adelaide Oval and we will be doing that – our 2013 members will have exclusive access before anyone else to select their seating.”
Based on current trends, some seating categories at Adelaide Oval will come close to being fully sold through the seat hold guarantee process. This heightens the importance of becoming a member in 2013.
The club is currently tracking well ahead of its member tally at the same time in 2012 and is on the cusp of breaking through the 30,000 member barrier.
But it is not just last year’s members who want to get on board, but previously lapsed members too.
“Our members are renewing, which is critical, but the other encouraging sign is that many of our lapsed members are returning to the club in droves,” says Richardson.
“We’re listening to our supporters and it’s a sign that people are excited to go on the new journey with our club into this season and beyond.
“Membership is an important indicator for how people are feeling generally about the club.
“There is no doubt that the move to Adelaide Oval in 2014 has some real traction with our members and supporters but they are also sensing the positive momentum building at Port Adelaide with the exciting journey we are on and they want to be part of it.”
