PORT ADELAIDE could take an unchanged line-up into Saturday evening’s meeting with West Coast, although defender Dougal Howard may be in line to return to the side if he gets through training on Thursday.
Howard missed the clashes against the Western Bulldogs and Adelaide after suffering a broken hand in the Round 18 game against Greater Western Sydney.
Forward Sam Gray could also come into contention for a recall after racking up a game-high 40 disposals and having 13 marks and five tackles, playing in a midfield role against West Adelaide in the SANFL.
Jack Trengove was also impressive in the Magpies’ disappointing loss to again push for an AFL return
He had 38 touches, 11 marks, four tackles and five inside
Will Snelling was the best for the Magpies with 37 disposals, five marks and seven tackles.
The 21-year-old also led his side’s scoring with three goals.
Forward Lindsay Thomas was an unused emergency last week.
The squad to face West Coast will be announced on Thursday evening.
