A lucky Farmers Union Iced Coffee drinker had an experience he will never forget thanks to the company’s partnership with the Port Adelaide Football Club.

The club and Farmers Union Iced Coffee teamed up to run the ‘Do The Hard Yards VIP Footy Experience’ competition through Foodland IGA, with Port Adelaide providing a prize that was the opportunity of a lifetime.

The lucky winner was Gumeracha resident Joel Taggart, a long-term supporter of Port Adelaide in the AFL and SANFL who got to experience the inner sanctum at Alberton and then the ultimate game day adventure at AAMI Stadium.

After touring the Allan Scott Power Headquarters at Alberton Oval, Joel took to the oval for a close-up view of the Power squad in training. That was followed by a briefing from premiership hard-man and new assistant coach Josh Carr. Joel also had a chance to mingle with the players after training, before getting autographs and then a rare photo opportunity with the entire team.

On Sunday 28 February, Joel took to the field with the Port Adelaide coaches and players ahead of the Power's NAB Cup Round 1 match against Carlton - later sitting alongside Matthew Primus in the coach's box as the team won its first match for 2012 by five points.

Following the first match, Joel and friends Megan Thompson, Clay Sutton and Lucilla Taggart enjoyed the comfort of Port Adelaide’s magnificent hospitality facility SuiteOne, taking in the ultimate view of the Power's final game of the day.

Joel certainly did the 'Hard Yards' with the Power in the week leading up to its opening NAB Cup matches and he and his friends enjoyed his VIP Experience immensely.

The Port Adelaide Football Club is proud to have Farmers Union Iced Coffee as a Key Partner once again in 2012.
