20 Team Supporters - who are among the Club’s POWER BROKERS - began their afternoon in the Players Lecture Theatre. They received a post-match review of the game against St Kilda with Football Operations Manager, Peter Rhode. Rhodey - with the assistance of players Tom Logan and Matthew Westhoff - gave the Team Supporters a detailed insight into what occurs immediately after a game for players, coaches and football support staff.
Assistant Fitness Coach Andrew Rondinelli and Logan continued to explain how the Club tracks and maintains player fitness levels, and the preparations taken pre and post-match. Andrew presented graphs and figures to give the group a greater understanding of what is expected from players and the factors that can alter their performance and results.
To conclude, Westhoff led the group around the players facility, explaining the role of each section of the building, how the players are grouped for training and answering any questions the Team Supporters had.
The Inner Sanctum experience is one of the prized entitlements of becoming a Team Supporter. Each Team Supporter gets two PAFC Platinum Memberships, entrance to all Port Adelaide home games, reserved undercover seating and car parking, along with other benefits.
