MATTHEW Primus says Darren Pfeiffer is the most likely candidate to be selected as replacement for the injured Jasper Pittard for Sunday’s game against Fremantle.
“We’re pretty much settled, we think Pfeiffer will come in for Pittard right at the moment,” said Primus.

Despite Pfeiffer firming as the likely selection, the Power will still deliberate over its final call this afternoon.
Primus was matter-of-fact on why Pfeiffer was omitted from the side that defeated Melbourne.
“Form is why you normally get dropped,” he told the media on Friday morning.
“We weren’t totally happy with his defensive stuff and he’s well aware of that.
“We haven’t fixed it, we’re just giving him another opportunity.”
Having anticipated the possibility that Fremantle would select two ruckmen for Sunday’s game, Primus says that the Dockers decision to go with one big man is likely to see Jarrad Redden squeezed out of the selection picture.
“We definitely had a long discussion over it, obviously Jarrad doesn’t have a game this weekend [with his SANFL team having the bye],” he said.
“Obviously their selection dropping a ruck and only going with one ruck ... makes things a little easier [at selection].”
The Power has resisted the urge to make significant changes to the side that defeated Melbourne and Primus confirmed the selected squad rewards that winning side.
“We had a good win, we had a lot of guys play some good footy so we’re rewarding that.”
