In 2012, the Port Adelaide Football Club is celebrating the people that make our club great, that’s you - our members, our supporters, our volunteers and our players.

In the coming months the club will be releasing a number of videos featuring Port Adelaide people, telling their Port Adelaide story.

The first video in the series features legendary boot studder Alf Trebilcock, who’s been volunteering at the club since 1968.

A butcher by trade, Alfie juggled work commitments at the Adelaide Central Markets for his first 30 years at the club, when he’d regularly start work at 4am at the markets before heading to Alberton for training and preparing the boots for the weekend’s game, often not returning home until well after 10pm.

An icon at the club, Alfie is as passionate about Port Adelaide as they come and is respected by players, staff and coaches alike.

Alfie’s story is a unique tale, but he’s one of the many incredible stories from our people.

Stay tuned for more.

And remember, together We Are Port Adelaide.
