The Port Adelaide Football Club is pleased to announce that Allan Scott AO, OAM and Sir Eric Neal AC, CVO will continue in their roles as Joint Patrons of the Port Adelaide Football Club in 2007.

Port Adelaide Football Club President Greg Boulton said it was fantastic to have both men on board.

“We are thrilled to have Allan and Sir Eric continue as Joint Patrons of the Port Adelaide Football Club for the coming year,” Boulton said.

“Both men represent much of what the club stands for – they are successful, passionate, proud and have the courage to overcome the odds.

“To have two such successful people, who also share a close friendship, representing our club in this very important role is great for our football club.”

Allan Scott AO, OAM is a name that is synonymous with business in South Australia and the Port Adelaide Football Club. Allan’s support extends back to the club’s SANFL days, but is most notable for the major sponsorship of the club since its entry into the AFL, resulting in the Scott’s logo being proudly displayed on the Power guernsey. Allan’s significant contribution also ensured the establishment of the club’s training and administration centre, the Allan Scott Power Headquarters.

Former South Australian governor and successful businessman Sir Eric Neal AC, CVO has not only served his state in an outstanding manner, but also his football club. He has been a passionate Port Adelaide supporter through his life, and has provided important support to the club through the years.

Allan Scott AO, OAM has been Joint Patron of the Port Adelaide Football Club since 2002, while Sir Eric Neal AC, CVO has held the position since 2005.
