ANDREW Moore's AFL season is over after scans revealed a grade two tear in his right hamstring.

Moore played 11 games in a row after breaking into the starting 22 in Round 10 and has enjoyed his most consistent year to date.

Spending more time in the midfield in 2012, Moore showed the strong defensive side of his game with 11 tackles against Geelong and impressed with his attacking instincts against Hawthorn, Fremantle and Essendon.
