Following the final additions to the Power’s playing list in last week’s AFL Pre-season and Rookie Draft, the club has finalised its jumper numbers for the 2012 season.

Brad Ebert, recruited from West Coast during the exchange period, will wear number 7, the number made famous by his Uncle and Port Adelaide legend Russell Ebert.

Russell wore the number 7 guernsey over nine seasons at the Magpies spanning 197 league games when he won two premierships and two Magarey Medals. He was captain in his other eight seasons at Alberton meaning, as per club tradition, he wore the number 1 guernsey.

Other new Port Adelaide players have also been assigned their new jumper numbers. They are: Brent Renouf (number 4), Chad Wingard (20), Nathan Blee (24), John McCarthy (35) and Brendon Ah Chee (41), as well as rookies Darren Pfeiffer (31) and Danny Butcher (45).
