The Port Adelaide Football Club has initiated the following changes with the SANFL on a trial basis for this week’s home game against North Melbourne;

• Gate 4 will be closed as an entry gate, leaving only one Gate attendant and four ticket sellers in position. Historical data shows that Gate 4 is the least patronised gate of all the large gates at AAMI. Its closure will have minimal impact with gates 3 and 5 located near by. The closure of Gate 4 also creates more space for the Club's popular pre-match Planet Teal Zone and supporters' BBQ.
• Reduction in the number of ticket sellers in the Members area by 1, to 3 in total
• Reduction in the number of public ticket sellers by 5 in total
• Removed every second concourse usher at the Southern end on a trial basis.

These changes are designed to create a more efficient and cost effective stadium for Power home matches where more modest crowds are anticipated. Previously, most facilities have been open no matter what the expected crowd and regardless of our opposition. As the hirer of AAMI Stadium for home matches, the club has a commercial responsibility to ensure that the venue is run in an efficient and cost effective manner.

The changes have been carefully considered in consultation with the SANFL and are expected to have a very minimal impact on the game day experience of our supporters.
