PORT Adelaide will begin its pre-season today (Monday 26 October) with 16 of the club’s second, third and fourth year players returning to training.
However, rather than hitting the track straight up, the players have all been sent for a week’s individual work experience with various Power sponsors.
The jobs will range from hard manual labour (landscaping, cementing, concreting, building sites, farm hand) to sales and servicing jobs.
The players will then train at Alberton each day this week after their work day is finished.
Today’s training will commence at approx 6.15pm.
