Recruited from Essendon at the end of 1998, Cockatoo-Collins was a regular in the Power forward line early in the decade. In 2001 - his best year for the Power - he booted 41 goals in 22 games and averaged more than 15 possessions per game. He was consistent again in 2002 and 2003 although his goal output reduced, managing 40 goals over the two seasons. The strong-marking forward finished his time at the Power at the end of 2003.
